Cerebra is a unique charity set up to help improve the lives of children with brain related conditions through research, education and directly supporting the children and their carers. Children with neurological conditions (inclusive of Autism, ADHD and Dyspraxia/Developmental Co-Ordinatuon Disorder) and their carers face unique challenges. Cerebra offer a wide range of support services that help lessen the strain and provide as fun filled a life as possible.

Cerebra also has two lending libraries. A Postal service and a Digital lending library of books for adults and children covering neurodevelopmental and brain conditions. Both are completely free to use. 

Cerebra EBook and Audiobook Library:

Cerebra have a selection of titles that you can borrow for free for 28 days. There are also several children’s audiobooks, if your child prefers to listen to stories rather than to read books.

The ebooks can be borrowed to read on Apple or Android devices, Kindle Fire tablets using the BorrowBox app or from your computer on their website.

Cerebra specialist postal library contains a wide range of books for both adults and children and a selection of toys specially chosen for children with brain conditions. The service is free for anyone in the UK caring for a child with a brain condition and is easy to use:

Gympanzees in a Bristol based charity that support all forms of disability from mild to profound physical disability, learning difficulties together with sensory and behavioural disorders. 

Families can borrow, their specialist play and exercise equipment including sensory boxes through to therapy equipment, gym equipment and soft play. So if your able to drive to Bristol you can access the service for free.

Their Pop Ups offer a variety of activities, from specialised gyms and sensory rooms to therapy suites and social cafés, they provide the chance to exercise, play and build friendships for the whole family and siblings are always welcome.
